Last weekend of January, Ewa Sadowska and Andrew Keogh attended an Annual Polish Ball in London under the Patronage of Duke of Kent.

Every year, The Ball gathers many representatives of Polish diaspora in the UK.

A Polish dance ‘polonaise’ opened the event formally, followed by a speech of Anna Maria Anders, a daughter of a Polish military officer and politician, and a prominent member of the Polish government-in-exile in London.

The Funds raised from each Ball are given to one Polish organisation in the UK. This year, it was a charity OPOKA from Bristol, which has been supporting Polish women and children experiencing violence since 2012.
