On 21st of July, 2022, the Consular Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in London, represented by Consul Tomasz Balcerowski and Consul Jolanta Srebrakowska, handed over to the Barka UK delegation vouchers to the British bakery chain Greggs for a total amount of £ 1,500.
Vouchers will be used by Barka beneficiaries who find themselves in difficult social and economic situation in Great Britain.
The fruitful cooperation with the Consular Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland has been going on for many years. The Consular Section of the Polish Embassy assists Barka UK and Barka’s beneficiaries – Polish citizens by quick delivery of identity documents for people who use Barka’s support as well as mediating in contacts with Polish organisations in the UK and British institutions.
