Dear Friends,
On the occasion of the birth of the little Child, who unravelled our tangled affairs and placed things in this world according to the order of Love, we wish you wings that will carry us beyond excessive attachment to things, beyond rushing, impatience or easy judgment. May they lead us into the world of the tender gaze of the Child, the touch of His hand, the emotion of a carol, leaning over crying, invitation to the table of a lonely person, the experience of brotherhood with others. And if there are any concerns – it is only so that Love may be reborn in the world.
We wish us all courage in breaking away from old habits, trust despite doubts, forgiveness despite misdemeanours, hope that illuminates the darkest paths.
May the Star of Bethlehem lead us to ourselves, reborn.
